Account Management
Delete your account
Delete your Atlas account
Atlas is the client portal app from Quick by Design Ltd (QBD), available on Google Play and the App Store.
You can ask us to delete your Atlas account at any time. There are two ways to do it, and both lead to the same outcome.
Option 1: from inside the app
Open Atlas, go to Settings, and tap Delete account. Confirm when asked.
Option 2: by email
If you have already removed Atlas from your device, or you would rather not use the app, email us instead.
Email: atlas@qbd.co.uk
Subject: Delete my Atlas account
Please send it from the email address you use to sign in to Atlas. That address is how we identify your account, so a request sent from a different address will be slower while we confirm it is really you.
You do not need to give a reason.
How long it takes
Your Atlas account will be deleted within 24 hours of your request. Your Atlas sign-in stops working immediately, on every device where you are signed in, not just the one you made the request from.
Deleting your Atlas account is not the same as ending your QBD service
Deleting your Atlas account removes your access to the app. It does not end your QBD Pulse service, cancel a contract, or stop any work we are doing for your business. If you want to end your QBD service, please speak to your QBD Growth Specialist.
If you later want to come back to Atlas, you will need to create a new account, and your Growth Specialist may need to set it up for you again.
What we delete
When your request is completed we delete:
- your Atlas user account and the profile held against it, which is your name, email address, company, job role, permission level and company role;
- every active session token for your account, so you are signed out everywhere;
- any one-time passcodes still held against your email address;
- your Atlas support tickets and the content of any feedback, content briefs or enquiries you submitted through the app, unless we are required to keep a record of them for the reasons below.
Anything Atlas had stored on your own device, including cached reports and any private notes you made against contacts, is removed when you sign out or when you uninstall the app. That data never reached our servers in the first place.
What we keep, and why
Some information is not part of your Atlas account and is not deleted with it.
- Your company's own data. Contacts, marketing performance, scheduled posts and similar information belong to your company, not to your personal Atlas login, and are held by us as a data processor on your company's behalf. Deleting your own account does not remove them. If you want your company's data deleted, that is a request your company makes to us under our Data Processing Agreement.
- Business records we are legally required to retain. Invoices, payment records, contracts and related correspondence are kept for as long as UK accounting and tax law requires, which is normally six years from the end of the relevant financial year. We keep these under a legal obligation and cannot delete them on request.
- Anonymised and aggregated information. Statistics that can no longer identify you are not personal data and may be retained.
Retention at a glance
| Data | What happens |
|---|---|
| Atlas account and profile | Deleted within 24 hours of your request |
| Session tokens | Deleted immediately, on every device |
| One-time passcodes | Deleted after use, or after 10 minutes |
| Cached data on your device | Removed at sign-out or on uninstall |
| Notes stored only on your device | Removed on uninstall |
| Invoices and financial records | Retained as required by UK law, normally six years |
| Your company's CRM and marketing data | Retained; belongs to your company, not your login |
