The Client
ScreenPop is a lively, friendly and fast-growing business networking organisation, bringing together business owners across Yorkshire, Cheshire, Rutland and the East Midlands.
Founded in 2020, ScreenPop has grown from an online networking community into a busy network of in-person and online groups, built around informal but structured meetings, genuine relationships and a welcoming atmosphere. Its membership model includes category lockouts, helping members build meaningful connections without competing directly with others in the same room.
With more than 40 groups across multiple regions, ScreenPop needed a website that could keep up with the scale, personality and energy of the business.

First impressions matter
The Challenge
ScreenPop’s existing website was no longer fit for purpose.
As the business had grown, the website had failed to grow with it. It did not reflect the professionalism, personality or credibility of the ScreenPop brand, and it was not giving potential members the right first impression.
For a networking organisation built around trust, connection and community, the website needed to do more than simply exist. It needed to quickly communicate what ScreenPop is, how membership works, where groups are located, and why business owners should get involved.
The client also needed a clearer way to showcase its many networking groups, helping visitors easily find relevant meetings, understand who hosts them and see whether a group was available to visit or restricted due to category lockouts.

The Solution
We designed and built a new website that brings ScreenPop’s colourful, energetic brand to life online.
Working closely with the client, we wireframed the structure of the website to make sure the user journey was clear, intuitive and focused on the needs of potential members. While the client created the written content, we supported them in shaping the site architecture, page flow and content layout so that visitors could easily understand ScreenPop’s offer.
The new website gives far more prominence to membership, group locations, meeting formats and the benefits of joining. Video content was incorporated throughout the site to add personality, build trust and give visitors a better feel for the ScreenPop community.
A key part of the build was the creation of a dedicated group system. With over 40 networking groups, ScreenPop needed a more efficient and user-friendly way to organise and present group information. The new system allows potential members to browse groups by region, view host details, access meeting information and understand whether they are able to visit a particular group.
Visually, the website uses bold colours, playful design elements and engaging layouts to reflect the fun, approachable nature of the brand. The result is a website that feels professional without losing the warmth and energy that makes ScreenPop stand out.
