Say hello to our PPC & Digital Marketing Specialist
In the latest of our series of Meet the Team profiles, we catch up with Molly Sneath to find out a bit more about her role as PPC & Digital Marketing Specialist and the work she does for clients.
How long have you been with QBD, and what are your main roles?
I joined QBD in 2020 as a Digital Marketing Executive. Over the past year, my role has been pretty diverse, with SEO work, social media management and building up our PPC clients, specifically in Google Ads. I now manage several accounts myself and get involved across multiple projects as a Digital Marketing Specialist.
What did you do before joining?
Before joining QBD I worked in another local agency that specialised in PPC. This involved running and managing a number of Google Ads accounts on behalf of our clients from a range of industries and sectors. I was then unfortunately made redundant at the beginning of the COVID-19 Pandemic. However, having known Dan previously through my old job, QBD soon got in touch and offered me a position in the team here.
What’s your skillset?
All things digital marketing really. My main skill set lies in social media and PPC. I also have strong copywriting skills and write blogs for clients who have a monthly subscription with us.
What do you enjoy most about working at QBD?
When I first joined QBD, I wasn’t able to meet any of the team in person due to COVID-19, which was a strange way to start a new job. What I enjoy most is how friendly everyone is, despite not having met them in person. Everyone makes you feel so welcome. The diverse range of clients is also great, no day or piece of work is the same.
Where do you live? Do you have family or pets?
I live in Ilkeston with my partner and although we don’t have any pets yet, that’s definitely the plan in the future.
What do you enjoy doing in your spare time?
I love going to the theatre to watch musicals, both here in Nottingham and down in London. Walking in the Peak District or anywhere with amazing views is also a favourite pastime.
Tea or coffee?
Tea, without a doubt.
Sweet or savoury?
This is a tricky one – I love savoury foods, and Pringles are my weakness. But, who can say no to chocolate?
Favourite food?
Anything pasta-based.
Favourite music?
I love music from the 80s, boy band tunes and, of course, soundtracks from musicals.
Favourite film?
This is another difficult one. I’d have to say any Harry Potter or Marvel film – I could never get tired of those.
If you could have any super-power, what would it be?
To be able to teleport to anywhere in the world.
Quirky fact about yourself
I’m part of a Broadway/West End-themed dance fitness club called Broadway Boogie. If you love musicals and want to get fit, you’ve got to try it.
