How it works
Ongoing marketing efforts are effective only with a solid strategy behind it.
While it’s crucial to keep your marketing pulse going, it’s also important to ensure the content you share is valuable and interesting for your customers.
Strategies like content marketing, email newsletters and social media interaction are all great ways to connect with your audience on a more personal level.
That’s why we created QBD Pulse, a structured, strategic and scalable monthly marketing programme designed to deliver results and keep your brand active.
But how does it work?
This page is dedicated to giving you clarity and understanding of exactly what QBD Pulse is and how it works, from onboarding to content delivery.

What is a tone of voice guide?
Before we start your QBD Pulse plan, you’ll need a Tone of Voice guide. This helps us to understand your business on a deeper level, ensuring every piece of content we create and share is in line with your brand and values.
Tone of voice is an essential brand element that can enhance or detract from your company’s image. A good tone of voice will help your business establish trust with customers, build loyalty and communicate better.
A distinctive tone of voice will also help reinforce your brand messaging and visual identity, and create consistency across all your communication channels and marketing activities.
It helps your business reach and connect with your audience through digital marketing that delivers results and supports your business objectives.
Onboarding for content
Content is the heartbeat of QBD Pulse. Whether it’s blog posts, landing pages or downloadable guides, we ensure every piece is strategic and search-friendly.
Our content team works closely with you to create content that’s genuinely useful, authentic and built to drive traffic and conversions.
Once the Tone of Voice is created, we can start on the creation of your ongoing monthly blogs.
To set this up, you’ll receive:
A full content plan mapped to your goals and SEO priorities
Keyword research and competitor insights
Tone of voice alignment and brand messaging check
Clear review and approval processes
Ongoing performance tracking
Onboarding for social media
Social media is a great way to connect with a wider audience. Leveraging social media marketing is pivotal for businesses in the modern digital age.
For our social media onboarding process, we’ll start by taking a look at your existing social media activity and profiles to see what’s working and what needs improving.
Our aim is to make sure your social media pages are consistent, engaging and aligned with your goals from the very beginning.
As part of the social media onboarding process, you’ll get:
- A tailored content plan based on your brand, tone and audience
- Agreed post types (e.g. product promotion, team culture, advice/insights sharing)
- Scheduling tools access (if needed), or we can handle scheduling for you
- Design templates aligned with your brand identity
Onboarding for email
Email marketing enables you to maximise your sales campaigns, reach out to new leads and prospects, keep your existing customers engaged, showcase new products and update your subscribers with your latest news and updates.
For our email onboarding process we’ll first understand how or if your business is utilising email marketing. From here, our experts can identify what needs setting up and integrating to make email work for you.
Here’s how we set you up:
- Audit of your existing email setup
- Template design and copywriting tailored to your brand and audience
- Integration/set up with your email platform (Mailchimp, Brevo, etc.). If applicable.
- Content calendar outlining campaign themes and CTAs
Pulse Infinity Services
In addition to the core QBD Pulse services; content, organic social media and email, there are also a number of services included in the Pulse Infinity package.

Our Pay Per Click (PPC) services cover Google Ads, Meta Ads and LinkedIn Ads. Paid ads are a great way to get in front of an audience who have already shown interest in your services or who fit your target market.
For the PPC onboarding process we’ll need the following:
- Access to your existing PPC accounts, or creation of new accounts
- An outline of the keywords or audiences you wish to target
- Your monthly ad spend
